טקס הזיכרון השנתי לקדושי קהילת זדונסקה וולה
ביום ראשון, 6.9.2026, קיימנו בהיכל יהדות ווהלין בגבעתיים טקס זיכרון מרגש ומכובד לזכר קדושי קהילת זדונסקה וולה, שנרצחו בשואה.
הטקס נערך בארגונם המשותף של יד ושם – רשות הזיכרון לשואה ולגבורה ושל ארגון יוצאי זדונסקה וולה בישראל, ובהשתתפות כ־50 מחברות ומחברי הארגון ובני משפחותיהם.
הטקס התקיים במעמד שגריר פולין בישראל, מר מאציי הונייה, וראש עיריית גבעתיים, מר רן קוניק, אשר נשאו דברים מרגשים בפני הקהל.
יושב ראש ארגון יוצאי זדונסקה וולה, מר צבי חנוך שטרן, נשא את הנאום המרכזי. בדבריו הזכיר בין היתר את חברת הארגון, פרופ׳ עדה יונת ז״ל, כלת פרס נובל לכימיה, שהלכה לעולמה השבוע. עוד עמד בדבריו על האחריות המוטלת על בני הדורות הצעירים לקבל לידיהם את לפיד הזיכרון, לשאת אותו בגאווה ולהבטיח כי סיפורה של הקהילה יישמר ויועבר גם לדורות הבאים.
במהלך הטקס הוקרנה ברכתו המצולמת של ראש עיריית זדונסקה וולה, מר קונרד פוקורה, אשר שלח את דבריו במיוחד לרגל המעמד.
על החלק האמנותי המרגש היה אמון הזמר והנגן המוכשר צביקה קופל, ואת הטקס הנחה בכישרון וברגישות חבר ועד הארגון, עו״ד ישראל ליברובסקי.
במהלך הערב הוענקו תעודות הוקרה מיוחדות לאנשים התורמים מזמנם, מכישוריהם וממרצם למען פעילות הארגון ושימור זכר הקהילה:
תעודת הוקרה הוענקה לרו״ח אברהם בוסקילה ממשרד מאזניים פיננסים בע״מ, על תרומתו המקצועית, המסורה והמשמעותית לארגון יוצאי זדונסקה וולה; על ניהול הדוחות הכספיים של הארגון בהתנדבות מלאה, במקצועיות בלתי מתפשרת ובמאור פנים.
תעודת הוקרה מיוחדת הוענקה גם לגב׳ יוליה מצקביץ׳־רוי מהמכון הפולני בתל אביב, על תרומתה יוצאת הדופן לשימור זיכרון השואה ועל פעילותה החשובה לחיזוק הקשר ושיתוף הפעולה עם ארגון יוצאי זדונסקה וולה ועם יתר ארגוני יוצאי הקהילות היהודיות מפולין.
תעודה נוספת תוענק בהמשך ליועץ המשפטי של הארגון, עו״ד גיא סקוב, אשר נבצר ממנו להשתתף בטקס. התעודה תוענק לו על תרומתו המקצועית והמסורה ועל הייעוץ המשפטי שהוא מעניק לארגון בהתנדבות מלאה ובמקצועיות רבה.
תודתנו המיוחדת לגב׳ ענבל דהן מיד ושם, על הסיוע הרב, הליווי וההשקעה בארגון הטקס על כל מרכיביו.
תודה גדולה גם למוריס, מנהל היכל יהדות ווהלין – שלוחת יד ושם בגבעתיים, על האירוח, הסיוע ושיתוף הפעולה החשוב.
תודה מעומק הלב לכל חברות וחברי הארגון, לאורחים ולבני הדורות הצעירים שהגיעו, השתתפו וכיבדו עמנו את זכרם של בני קהילת זדונסקה וולה.
נזכור את הקהילה שנגדעה, נספר את סיפורה ונעביר את זכרה מדור לדור. יהי זכרם ברוך.

The Annual Memorial Ceremony for the Martyrs of the Jewish Community of Zduńska Wola
On Sunday, September 6, 2026, we held a moving and dignified memorial ceremony at Heichal Yahadut Wohlin in Givatayim, commemorating the martyrs of the Jewish community of Zduńska Wola who were murdered in the Holocaust.
The ceremony was jointly organized by Yad Vashem – The World Holocaust Remembrance Center and the Organization of Former Residents of Zduńska Wola in Israel. Approximately 50 members of the organization and their families attended.
The ceremony was held in the presence of the Ambassador of Poland to Israel, Mr. Maciej Hunia, and the Mayor of Givatayim, Mr. Ran Kunik, both of whom delivered moving remarks.
The Chairman of the Organization of Former Residents of Zduńska Wola, Mr. Zvi Chanoch Stern, delivered the keynote address. In his remarks, he paid tribute to Prof. Ada Yonath, of blessed memory, a Nobel Prize laureate in Chemistry and a member of our organization who passed away this week. He also spoke about the responsibility entrusted to the younger generations: to carry the torch of remembrance with pride and to ensure that the story of the community is preserved and passed on to future generations.
During the ceremony, a recorded message from the Mayor of Zduńska Wola, Mr. Konrad Pokora, prepared especially for the occasion, was screened.
The moving musical program was performed by the talented singer and musician Zvika Kopel. The ceremony was skillfully and sensitively conducted by Adv. Israel Liberowski, a member of the organization’s Executive Committee.
During the evening, special Certificates of Appreciation were presented to individuals who contribute their time, talents, and energy to the organization’s activities and to preserving the memory of the community:
A Certificate of Appreciation was presented to CPA Avraham Buskila of Moznaim Finansim Ltd., in recognition of his dedicated, professional, and significant contribution to the Organization of Former Residents of Zduńska Wola; for managing the organization’s financial reports entirely on a voluntary basis, with uncompromising professionalism, kindness, and goodwill.
A special Certificate of Appreciation was also presented to Ms. Julia Matskevich-Roy of the Polish Institute in Tel Aviv, in recognition of her exceptional contribution to preserving the memory of the Holocaust and her important work in strengthening ties and cooperation with the Organization of Former Residents of Zduńska Wola and with other organizations representing former Jewish communities from Poland.
An additional certificate will be presented at a later date to the organization’s legal counsel, Adv. Guy Skov, who was unable to attend the ceremony. The certificate recognizes his dedicated professional contribution and the legal counsel he provides to the organization entirely on a voluntary basis and with the highest level of professionalism.
Our special thanks go to Ms. Inbal Dahan of Yad Vashem for her extensive assistance, guidance, and dedication in organizing every aspect of the ceremony.
